Idaho Creek
Weld County, Colorado
CVL contracted with the builder to complete this project, which was initiated by another firm. CVL assisted the builder to file variances with the Weld county building department for the effected problem lots. Since that time, CVL has provided a lot fit plan, final grading plan, plot plans and house staking for 270 lots with no further approval issues with the governing agencies. CVL also provided a revised grading plan for phase three of this project when the builder found that the initial earthwork balance plan by others created an earth volume deficit. This revised graded plan resolved the earth balance issues while accommodating the previously installed utility pedestals. |

Quincy Lake
Jefferson County, Colorado
This project contains single family and detached alley load homes. CVL provided plot plans, and staking for underdrain locations and house corners. The detached lots provided for a grading challenge due to the small lot size and the grade differential between the alley at the back of the lot and the street in the front of the lot. Another challenge that CVL overcame was that during the building of the subdivision, Jefferson County announced they would require a grading, erosion and sediment control plan on each lot. CVL submitted the GESC plans with the respective plot plan to receive approvals. CVL was able to work with the County to provide the required plan and keep the building schedule on track. |

Meadows Professional Offices
Castle Rock, Colorado
Two office buildings are planned for office condominiums on this 2.5-acre site. In addition to completing the plat and construction staking for the site, CVL has provided the staking for the buildings. This staking included gridlines, building corners and setting the finish floor elevation. |

Grandview
Erie, Colorado
CVL received this project assignment to relieve a firm
not able to meet their initial schedule obligations.
This project involved producing plot plans and
staking for single family homes and townhomes.
CVL was also able to assist the client by modifying
the drainage design to alleviate existing problems
in open space tracts. CVL provided staking for the
remaining portion of the trail and park
improvements. |

Grandview

This project consists of 66 duplex alley-load lots and
is located at 104th Avenue and Wadsworth Parkway.
The initial scope, which consisted of a lot fit
analysis, final grading plan, plot plan and house
staking project for CVL, has expanded in order to
meet the builder’s needs. CVL has now provided
various services to assist in the construction of the
model area including sidewalks and parking lot,
staking of entry monuments, area drains, and dry
utilities. |

CVL is assisting this builder with the due diligence services for the purchase of 139 finished single family lots. CVL has provided a lot matrix to ensure the client’s products fit on the lots. An analysis of the sewer and underdrain services has been conducted to ensure compatibility with the builder’s product profiles. An ALTA survey, staking of soil test holes, review of lot drainage, earthwork quantities based upon full basement homes, and review of drainage way and trail construction has been conducted to meet the design requirements.
